“Publications from some media fueling the suspicion that I’m being pushed around to set legal actions against the NDC party is being orchestrated”, defeated aspirant of the Klottey Korle NDC primary, Nii Armah Ashitey has said.
Ashitey told Kwaku Owusu Adjei on Si Me So on Kasapa 102.3 FM Wednesday that he’s not at the beck and call of anybody , therefore cannot be controlled as was being speculated in some media.
“Off late I’ve noticed in the Informer, the Inquisitor, the Al-hajj and the Enquirer newspapers and it looks like people are just directing their anger at me for whatever reason. Originally I decided not to bother my mind over this but it looks like it is orchestrated.
“If you follow through these publications in the aforementioned papers, it is being projected as if Nii Armah Ahietey is a small boy, or a Yooyoo boy who doesn’t know what he’s about; and that people can just move me according to the wind- and that is destroying,” he fumed.
The fact that somebody supported me in my campaign doesn’t mean that person can influence me to go to court, he added.
According to him, he thought through it carefully and realized that going to court was in his best interest vis a vis the recent challenges he’s facing with the party.
He therefore wondered why anyone would just destroy his reputation for turning to the court in the wake of his woes with the NDC party.
