Agnes Obaa Yaa Osei Bonsu shares her amazing journey as a professional Banker and showbiz critic.

She is one of Ghana’s leading entrepreneurs and a source of inspiration to the young women who desire to be self-dependent.

Her journey wasn’t as streamlined as it sounds. She has had her lows competing in a male dominated industry (Entertainment) but thrived so hard to make a mark.

Obaa Yaa as affectionately called has over 12 years experience in the banking industry and currently a staff of Beige Bank.

Her passion for radio and Tv grew stronger as she began contributing on entertainment platforms. Her voice on radio has been a source of inspiration to both guests and listeners.

She celebrates her 35th birthday today, Monday, April 30. Obaa Yaa decided to mark this special day with new photos.

How she started

Born on April 30, 1983 to Mr Kwadwo Osei-Bonsu and Madam Grace Baotengmaa (Late) in Kwahu-Pepease, Obaa Yaa besides working on her thriving business, she also joins in Girls Talk Show on Asempa FM to discuss pertinent issues concerning women and entrepreneurship.

Obaa Yaa got her first exposure in the radio business on Kasapa Entertainment on Kasapa 102.5FM where she outlined key points to issues worrying the music and movie industry, this made her a regular panel on the show.

She recently featured in the “Side Chic Gang’’ movie which is directed by Peter Sedufia.
