One of the longest-serving presenters oF the Kennedy Agyepong-owned Oman FM, Kwaku Opare ‘Adasuoko’ is set to leave the station.

Opare who joined Oman from Adom FM in 2007 is ending an 8-year affair with the Madina-based station.

He would join the news team of the Kwabena Duffour and Bola Ray-owned Kasapa 102.3 FM, which is currently being composed for an eventual take off in few days.

A talented young presenter, he was discovered by Ahuma Ocansey (Daddy Bosco) at Shalom Radio in the Brong Ahafo Region and has since risen through a successful radio career.

The young gentlemen together with the likes of Fiifi Boafo, Kwabena Kwakye, Nana Okyere Awurokuo (who has since left Oman for Vision 1 FM), and DJ Awana among others left Adom en masse to Oman when the station took off.

A major highlight of his days at Oman was his anchoring of the 2012 election petition.

He joins a solid team recruited by Kasapa owners, EIB, to help with its operations. Former Peace FM afternoon drive host, Fiifi Banson, hosts the station’s morning show ‘Anopa Kasapa’. Already in its fold is Afia Schwarzenegger who does the mid-morning.

Other personalities include former Vision 1 presenter Agyenim Boateng, Kojo Preko Dankwa (formerly of Adom FM), Former CITI FM/Oman FM/Adom FM producer Emmanuel Ohemeng, and former Adom FM producer Ben Duker.

Former Adom FM/Asempa FM sports presenters Tony Adam Adjei, and Gideon Okyere Anim (Gatusso) have also joined.
