A parent in Sunyani has threatened court action against the West African Examination Council (WEAC), over the Council’s cancellation of some papers in the ongoing exams.
Mr Owusu Tawiah is against WAEC’s decision to cancel some of the papers, and has given a 24hr ultimatum for for the Council to offer “reasonable” explanation on its decision.
He’s insisted the decision has dire consequences on the “poor students”.
“They did not work well, who is supposed to take control over the papers? They’re supposed to fire certain people in there.”
He argues that “if they’re to go back and do it all over again it will be a waste of resource.”
