National Youth Organizer of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Sammy Awuku, says the new crop of young parliamentary hopefuls of the Party is good for it”s structure and positioning.
On Anopa Kasapa with Fiifi Banson on Kasapa 102.3 FM Awuku said the victory of the young parliamentary candidates resonated with the changing dynamics of global politics.
“Six students between the ages of 19 and 21 are in the Canadian Parliament. All over the world, in Malawi, South Africa and so forth, the dynamics are changing.”
He condemned the attacks on the young parliamentary candidates who won last Saturday’s primaries.
“First of all they had a message to campaign with, they strategized and they won.”
