Ghana is seeking a partnership with Israel in the Agric sector to boost the nation’s drive to improve the sector.

President John Mahama highlighted this in talks held with a former President of Israel, Mr. Shimon Peres, in Brazzaville, Congo.

The two leaders, who were panelists at the 2nd Forbes Afrique Forum, discussed issues related to agriculture and how Israel’s experiences and agricultural technology can help boost Ghana’s effort to transform the sector. 

 “Digital technology is a reliable technology to increase food production,” President Mahama noted

An effective digital component of the Ghana Commodity Exchange he added was being developed locally to benefit the country’s farmers.
