Spanish club Atlético de Madrid have received an offer to play a friendly game in Ghana in August.

An Accra-based company 2A Multimedia is working on getting the match played on August 8 at the Accra Sports Stadium.

A letter dated July 6 from the office of the Spanish League’s LFP World Challenge, captures what could be described as Madrid’s interest in honouring the match on the said date.

The letter however adds that a deal is subject to a signature of agreement between the two parties.

Atlético local media in Spain say are likely to honour the match as it falls within their pre-season plans.

The Spanish club will head to China on August 4 to play Asamoah Gyan’s Shangai SIPG before embarking on the Ghana trip, understands.
