Asamoah Gyan came from the bench to score in his first match for Shangai SIPG Thursday.

SIPG managed a 2:1 win over Tianjin Teda in the Chinese Super League Thursday courtesy the Black Stars Captain’s late winner.

The 80th minute goal sealed a sweet victory for Gyan’s new team, who are paying him some 350, 000 dollars in weekly wages.

SIPG’s victory takes them top of the Chinese top flight league table, and are two points ahead of Beijing Guoan.
