The board of the Mauritius investment is set to open an office in Ghana to facilitate all investment project the island country hopes to undertake in Ghana.

This is contained in an outcome of a technical mission the Mauritius investment board led by the country’s vice Prime Minister undertook in Ghana at the invitation of President Mahama in May last year.

During the deliberations, the Ghana Investment Promotion Center (GIPC) was tasked by the President to engage with the board of the Mauritius Investment team .

The Technology park project at Tema, according to a statement, is the outcome of the negotiations between the GIPC and the Mauritius investment team. M 2

A technical team representing the Mauritius Ministry of Finance and Economic Development is expected in Ghana today August 10, 2015 to hold discussions with the Bank of Ghana and the Ministry of Finance on the feasibility of Mauritius investors participating in the financial sector of Ghana.

Among the team are Mr. Louis Sydney In Sanspeur, Chairman of Board of Investment, Mr. Dharamraz Mohabeer, Assistant Director, BOI, Mr. Farazally Rojid, Investment Executive, BOI, and Mr. Vivekanand Lochun, Senior Advisor, Ministry of Finance.

The rest are Mrs. Shakuntala Devi Jugmohun, Senior Advisor, Ministry of Finance, Mr. Jayesen Kovalen Ramasamy, 2nd Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Gaetan Michel Siew Hew Sam, Chairman, State Land Development Company and Mr. Vivek Jhurry, Manager, Business Parks of Mauritius Limited.
