The District Police Commander at Kenyasi, DSP Emmanuel Aduboahen has appealed to the general public to report any person(s) in possession of ornaments believed to be stolen from the Antoa Nyama shrine, to the Kenyasi police.

He said the ornaments belonged to the shrine.

Speaking to Kasapa News, DSP Adu Boahen said the ‘strong room’ of the powerful god, “Antoa Nyamaa”, in the Kwabre East District of the Ashanti Region was raided by thieves who stole gold ornaments and other valuables worth thousands of cedis.

He said persons living in the house where the shrine is built have been arrested for interrogation.
