Flour and Oil sellers in the Central Business District of Accra Makola, are lamenting about the current power crisis saying it is greatly affecting business.
Asked about how dumsor affects flour and oil, the traders said, bakers and caterers who use the floor and oil do not have light to bake, thus they see no need to purchase it.
Speaking to Kasapa News, the sellers said oil moves with flour and ones the flour is not bought the caterers see no reason why the oil should be bought too.
According to them sometimes the flour and oil expires causing them a great loss.
Sadly, if the power crisis does not come to a halt, cakes, biscuits, pie etc will be scarce this Christmas.
