The Miners have been pitted against the North Africans in the 2015-16 preliminary phase of the Caf Champions League

Ghana champions Ashantigold SC have been drawn against Algerian club Mouloudia Olympique de Bejaia, in the preliminary stages of the Caf Champions League.
