President John Mahama will today take his “Accounting to the People Tour” to the Brong Ahafo region.
The tour comes ahead of Ghana’s polls due for November this year.
The President will use three days to tour the region and interact with the chiefs and people, cut sod for new projects, inspect ongoing projects, including a lecture block at the Sunyani Polytechnic and two of Community Day Senior High Schools.
The President is also expected to interact with drivers and traders at Techiman, Sunyani, and Berekum markets.
The President will upon arrival today move to Derma at the Tano South District to commission a community day secondary school, one of the 200 being constructed across the country.
President Mahama will from there move to Techimentia within the same District to commission the Techimentia Polyclinic, and also pay a courtesy call on Nana Dadiesoabahene and inspect road project in Sunyani, according to a correspondence from the region.
