A high-powered delegation of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) left Accra today for Geneva to attend a Council Meeting of the Socialist International (SI) Forum.
The event will be held from July 1-3, 2016, according to a statement issued and released by Acting General Secretary of the NDC, Koku Anyidoho.
The delegation, which was led by Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, General Secretary of the NDC, includes, Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo, Vice Chairman/Director of Elections, Mary Awusi, parliamentary candidate for Asante Akyem North, and Dr. Karl Max Arhin, Deputy Director of International Relations.
Inter Alia, some of the the member parties of the SI Forum that are participating in the Conference, include, the CPC of China, the CPC of Cuba, FRELIMO of Mozambique, SWAPO of Namibia, Labour Party of UK, SDP of Denmark, SDP of Germany , SPSOA of Spain, and the governing Social Democratic Party of France.
The SI is an Association of all Progressive Parties worldwide, and the NDC is a leading member on the African Continent. The delegation is expected back on, July 04, 2016.
