The Deputy General Secretary of the governing New Patriotic Party(NPP) Nana Obiri Boahene has berated officials of the Ghana Medical Association(GMA) for the seeming lack of concern in relation to the case of the late Abuakwa North MP, J.B Danquah Adu.

Obiri Boahene has petitioned the GMA to take actions against Dr. Lawrence Adusei, the pathologist who conducted the autopsy of the late MP killed in his home in Accra two years ago.

This comes after Dr. Adusei lately claimed that the autopsy report of J.B Danquah Adu which he authored had gone missing, a situation that has slowed the prosecution of the two suspects held in the murder of the late MP, Daniel Asiedu and Vincent Bossu.

But Obiri Boahene has expressed worry that there is no clear action from the GMA vis a vis the case, after nearly a month of petitioning them.

“…Even writing to acknowledge receipt of the said petition, I’ve not received any letter. I’m extremely worried, and some of us are not comfortable about the way things are going.” Nana Obiri Boahene fumed in an interview with Accra-based Citi FM.
