Rapper Guru has sent a word of caution to dancehall artiste Shatta Wale over Sarkodie’s new ‘diss’ track to the SM boss.

The advise comes after celebrities have commended the award winning rapper for the punchlines in his freestyle video.

The boss of NKZ Music told the Shatta Wale not to react to Sarkodie’s new song which is directed at him [Shatta Wale] because it’ll disrupt the promotion of his ‘Reign’ album.

He tweeted, “Don’t reply else u will shift the focus of your album n trust u will lose Big time!”

Shatta Wale is set to unveil his new album ‘The Reign’ at the Fantasy Dome on Saturday 13th October, 2018.

The album contains two of Shatta Wale’s already released bangers “Gringo and Amount” which are already trending on social media. The yet to be launched album is Shatta Wale’s third album after ‘Bandada from Ghana’ and ‘After the Storm’.

After weeks of name-calling and insults, Sarkodie has released a full length song reply to Shatta Wale titled ‘MY ADVICE’. The former insinuates that Wale’s reason for attacking colleague artistes is because his “hype is vanishing.”

He also responded to the claims that he is poor – asking God to bless him with poverty if his current life is what being poor looks like.

Sarkodie also takes a dig at Wale’s constant bragging about his properties saying he doesn’t have enough money to buy a brand new Range Rover vehicle.

“Paul a wanba nt3m ni fame no fofo no/ Gyai alumi ni sh3 na sh3 cue blings,” raps Sarkodie.

“New money, new car, new house so you can’t think far but time is running out, we for raise bar. Cos after some time nobody get time for your bullshit/Eye wegyimi kakra, stay focused. How many times na makakyerε wo wɔ phone so sɛ nea woyɛ no nyina no dey need.”

The Sarknatives have called on Wale to work on a new strategy aimed at promoting his upcoming album instead of attacking other Ghanaian artistes.

Wale, in recent interview stated that Sarkodie’s fans are killing his career.

His claim followed the backlash from the latter’s fan base because of his comments on Hitz FM.

Wale stated on the show that the ‘Glory’ rapper doesn’t brag about properties because he doesn’t have any.
