Ghanaian artiste, Okyeame Kwame has attributed the difficult times in Ghana to global economic situation.

Sharing his thoughts on the demonstration embarked on by residents of Adenta against road accidents in their community, he asked leaders of the country to have a dialogue with citizens on the way forward.

“America is suffering, they have a bad leader. All these things are affecting our economy. So I think the politicians should come up and have a dialogue with the people again,” explained Kwame on The Zone on Starr 103.5 FM.

“I think the nation is becoming a little hard because of the global economic situation. Britain is in Brexit, Europe is suffering herself so instead of sending their money to Africa, they send it to Greece.”

Angry residents of Adenta blocked the main Madina- Adenta highway on Thursday to protest the high level of accidents and deaths on the road.
