Pieces of information gathered by Kasapafmonline.com indicate that the Government of Ghana, represented by the Ministry of Health has been able to secure a certificate from the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority for the operationalization of Fly Zipline Ghana Limited.

The non issuance of an Aviation Certificate, together some others, has been the bone of contention for the past few days, leading Parliament to defer the approval for the Service Agreement between the Republic of Ghana and Fly Zipline Ghana Limited on two occasions.

However, at sitting Wednesday, the Majority Leader, Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu confirmed to the House that the Aviation Certificate has been issued, tabling a copy to enable Members authenticate the veracity or otherwise of the certificate.

He therefore sought the indulgence of the Speaker to consider bringing finality to the deal by approving it.

But his request was turned down following an objection raised by the Minority, especially, its Ranking Member to the Committee on Health, Hon. Joseph Yieleh Chireh.

Mr. Chireh had told the House that he has not seen the copy of the certificate and therefore, it would be very difficult for him to speak to it.

He pleaded with the Speaker to allow the Health Committee meet over the issue and report to the plenary accordingly.

The First Deputy Speaker, Hon. Joseph Osei Owusu who presided over the affairs of the House directed the Committee to meet and amend their earlier report to include the issuance of the certificate by the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority.
