Hundreds of people took to the principal streets of Accra to take part in the fourth edition of the ‘Kasapa Power Walk’ to burn calories to keep fit.
Leading media organization, EIB Network’s mass media brand, Kasapa 102.5FM teamed up with Ghana Trade Fair Company Limited to create more awareness for the 23rd Ghana International Trade Fair, which started on February 28 and will end on March 11, 2019, in Accra.
The participants including both young and old dressed in their Kasapa Fm and Ghana Trade Fair Company outfit, walked, jogged and exercised their bodies with joy.
They also took part in the aerobics at the end of the walk at the Trade Fair Center, Labadi.
EIB Network’s CEO, Nathan Kwabena Adisi [Bola Ray] explained that the Ghana Trade Fair Company collaborating with Kasapa Fm corroborated with The Fair, which is on the theme: “Made in Ghana; Globally Accepted”, providing quality Made in Ghana Goods to industrialize the country to reduce dependence on imports.
He noted that Kasapa Fm, a mass media station as part of its core responsibilities will continue to engage and educate Ghanaians on why the need to patronize local goods and services using its medium.
Staff of Kasapa Fm, workers and exhibitors of Ghana International Trade Fair, several Keep fit clubs and inhabitants of Labadi took part in the health walk.
