The Confederation of Governance Assessment Institute [COGAI], has honoured Arts Director and Production Designer, Prince Kojo-Hilton as an Ambassador for Pan African Art in Africa.

The CEO of Hilwood Studio and the Executive Director of The Arts Legendary Hall of Fame received the honorary award on 9th March, 2019 at the International Conference Center in Accra.

Hilton was contracted and worked as a Scenic Artist with Hollywood Director of ‘The Matrix’, where he designed buses, made paintings of Hollywood actor Jean-Claude Van Damme.

He also worked as the Scenic Director for Hollywood blockbuster series “Sense 8” — plus other Hollywood productions outside Ghana.

Prince is a Production Designer, Art Director, Special Effects Expert, Props/Model Maker, Storyboard Artist, Painter, and anything Arts.

He was nominated to represent Ghana in the prestigious Global Art Award in 2017.

Confederation of Governance Assessment Institute, an organization that ensures that policies formulated and implemented by governing bodies and public institutions are tailored to meet the socio-economic needs of the people for the achievement of sustainable development whilst commending and appreciating eminence of individuals/corporate institutions in various fields.

COGAI has over the years collaborated with its subsidiary organizations and reputable international institutions [such as the “ALFRED NOBEL UNIVERSITY” – the only prestigious institution worldwide, which confers the privileged “NOBEL PRIZE HONOURS…”] to organize corporate events, such as; the “Honorary Doctorate Degree [HDD] Awards – 2017/2018.

In 2007 / 2008, “COGAI” organized the [National Media & Creative Arts] – “NAMECA Festival” bringing together Newspapers, Radio and TV stations across the country. Hopefully, this year, the “Festival” may bounce back.


Prince Kojo-Hilton is an Arts Director and Production Designer. He is the founder of Support Arts Foundation, CEO of Hilwood Studio and the Executive Director of The Arts Legendary Hall of Fame event which started 2015. He is also the Greater Accra Regional Chairman for Ghana Association of Visual Artists (GAVA).

Among other awards and recognitions, Kojo-Hilton is the winner for 2016 Osagyefo Pan African Eminence Art Director. He received an Honorary Award from the University of Ghana -Legon, School of Performing Arts 2017, and also has been nominated for the Global Art Award in the category of The Ultimate Best Global Artist Award scheduled in Dubai on November 17, 2017 in Dubai.

He has exhibited his talents in both local and international productions as an Art Director, Production designer, Set Designer, Graphic Artist, Scenic Painter, Makeup FX Artist,  Story board Illustrator, Model making, etc.  And for the past 15years of his life, he has single handedly Thought, Trained, Developed and Mentored over 65 young talents across the African Continent.

Kojo-Hilton created the first ever man-made Volcano in Africa 2012 for The Guinness Big Eruption Concert in Accra. His works are best seen in Movies, TV commercials, Music Videos, Stage Events, and many more. Prince, having worked as a Scenic Artist with Hollywood Directors of ‘Matrix’ Lana and Andy Wachowski on the Science Fiction Movie ‘Sense 8’, shot in Nairobi, Kenya. He has equally worked with most of the renowned multi-media firms and film production houses in Ghana. They always keep laud and recommend him because of his dedication, hard work and ingenuity.

He is a product of the National Film and Television Institute, NAFTI, with a major in Art Direction and Production Design. With his artistic ability, he had the rare opportunity of enhancing his carrier with the Technical Department of the National Theatre of Ghana, in the areas of Scenic Design, Props Design, Makeup Effects, Set Design and Construction.
