Popular Hiplife group, ‘Praye’ has questioned the credibility of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards scheme.

Charterhouse, the organisers of the 20th Edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards 2019 has begun releasing the nominees’ list of the upcoming awards scheme.

Charterhouse Productions Ghana, the organizers of the coveted awards scheme had a constituted Academy Board which shortlisted the various nominations for the year.

The Ghana Music Awards is an award scheme designed to recognize, celebrate the hard work and dedication of various stakeholders and players in the entertainment industry.

But Praye who after reuniting came out with the song ‘Gbang Gbang’ believes VGMA organizers have not been fair to the group which did not have a single nomination this year.

“I believe that VMGA is not credible, it is about time we do away with certain people in the awards scheme so that the award scheme will be transparent. When we came out with the hit song ‘Angelina’ it was nominated for the most popular song of the year, but we were not crowned artistes of the year. VGMA keeps doing the same mistakes which is so unfortunate,” Praye Tintin and Praye Tiatia said in an interview on Di Wo Lane Mu show on Kasapa FM.
