Pentecost International Worship Center of the Church Of Pentecost at Michel Camp in the Ashaiman Area has donated clothes and items worth thousands of Ghana Cedis to the Light In The Tunnel Children’s Home and School.

Some of the items donated are food, cartons of drinks, bags of rice, cartons of oil, bags of clothes, toilet rolls, soaps and cash of 3,000 cedis.

Resident Minister at PIWC Michel Camp, Pastor David Amankwaa stated that, the donation was part of the Church’s responsibility to take care of the less privilege in society.

“Most kids, unfortunately, find themselves deprived from the many good things life has to offer and as a Church whose mandate is to bring people closer to God, nothing makes us happier than to put smiles on the faces of these children as it is also part of our responsibility as a Church and PIWC Michel Camp deem it necessary to donate to these less privilege and marginalize ones”

Pastor Amankwaa together with some Elders, Deaconess and members of the Church prayed for the children and urged them to learn more about Jesus Christ and give their lives to Him.

Receiving the donation on behalf of the Orphanage Home, founder of Light In The Tunnel Children’s Home and School, Madam Jemima Coker expressed their profound gratitude to the Church for their kind gesture and assured the church everything brought will be used for its purpose.

Madam Coker extended her thanksgiving to the presbytery, members and donors from PIWC Michel Camp for attending to the orphanage when they call upon them.
