Chairman of alleged disbanded Pro-New Patriotic Party (NPP), Vigilante group Delta Forces, Mohammed Seidu, is urging media house across the country to cease granting interviews to the former organizer of the group, Kwadwo Bamba.
According to Mohammed, Kwadwo Bamba, has been recruited into national security and has no right to speak on issues related to activities of Delta forces.
He revealed in an interview with Ultimate FM’s Isaac Justice Bediako, that new executives had been appointed for the group before it was disbanded under the instructions of the President Nana Akufo Addo, as part of efforts to halt the breeding of political Vigilante groups whose existence has become a major concern to Ghanaians.
“After 2016 elections Bamba was recruited into National security, he is now a state official why does he still speak for Delta forces. I have appointed a new organiser for the group even though we do not exist as a vigilante group. We are now working for the party as party members.’’
He added: “I want to make it clear to the media houses that Kwadwo Bamba doesn’t speak for the group again, if you need any information about Delta Forces contact the chairman and our public relations officer even though we have been disbanded,’’ he stressed.
