Police and Military patrols have intensified after the death of two persons in the troubled Dagomba Line enclave in the Oforikrom constituency of the Ashanti region.
This follows renewed clashes over a parcel of land that resulted in the destruction of properties and several casualties recorded in the disputes.
The number of suspects arrested in connection with the clashes in the wake of the latest development has jumped from 18 to 110.
Persons involved in the clashes were seen firing gunshots while others held machetes.
A reinforcement team of police and military officers were yesterday dispatched to the area as structures were set ablaze by the feuding factions.
Some victims of the violence sustained machete wounds.
Some residents have fled their homes over fears of losing their lives.
Earlier, it was reported that relative calm had returned to the area after seven people were injured in the initial clashes.
