Deputy Minister for Transport, Hon. Daniel Nii Kwartei Titus-Glover marked his 53rd birthday with children at Tema SOS Village on Wednesday.

Hon. Titus-Glover, who doubles as Member of Parliament for Tema East, capped the celebrations with the adoption of four children at the facility.

“I fell ill last year and my pastor told me I made it to this year through my selflessness,” the politician said in explaining his decision to celebrate the day with the less-privileged.

He added: “I hereby adopt Joseph, Julius and Joshua (triplets) as well as Bettina as my own children. GHS 1,000 of my salary will go them every month.

“My biological children are lucky to have me but could have ended up like these children. So let us support SOS.”

Hon. Titus-Glover also donated cash of GHS 2,000 to support the management of the Tema SOS Children’s Village and accompanied the gesture with other items including bags of rice, boxes of Key Soap, vegetable oil, packs of toilet tolls and boxes of Bel Aqua Mineral Drinking Water.
