2011 first runner up of TV3’s Talented Kids reality show, Enock Darko has revealed the struggle he went through after the program.

Darko who is now part of Nollywood said through the help of his trainer and parent he made strenuous efforts to achieve his acting dream.

According to him, organizers of the Kids reality show never bothered to push the young talents further or even connect them to the right people in the industry to help them build their career.

Enoch Darko told Eddie Ray on Kasapa Entertainment that Talented Kids has been very beneficial to him, helped him discover his comic talent and made him famous.

“Talented Kids organizers do not help or nurture any participant’s talent after the show for other projects. Once the show is over, you’re to strive by yourself to the top. Talented Kids only discover your talents and leave the rest for you and your trainer or parents.

“Tv3’s Talented Kids is a good platform for discovering young talents in Ghana.” Darko said on Kasapa Fm

Darko participated in the show as a comedian, and he won a lot of hearts with his amazing performances.

Talented Kids program discovered talents like Tutulapato, Awal, Cartoon, DJ Switch, Nakeeyat Dramani, and many others.

Speaking on why he relocated to Nigeria, Darko bemoaned the fact that some actors bad-mouth their colleagues’, adding that there is so much hatred in the industry that some people would even resort to juju to hurt others to get to the top.

“For now, I’ve stopped acting in Ghanaian movies. I’ll be part of the Ghanaian film industry when the system is fixed.” The Young actor said

He has featured in many movies with top Nigerian actors.

“I’ve featured in almost 50 movies when I relocated to Nigeria. I’ve acted with well known Nigeria actors like Chief Pete Edochie, Osita Iheme, Destiny Etiko and many others.” he disclosed

Enock Darko was honoured at the Ghana Film Summit in 2019 for his amazing contribution to the sustainability of the Ghana Film Industry organized by the Film Directors Guild of Ghana [FDGG]. He has featured in over ten drama series both in Ghana and Nigeria.
