Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta is expected to present the mid-year review and budget statement next week Thursday.
This follows initial approval of the document presented to cabinet yesterday.
The finance minister is expected to make a final pitch on the content of the document to cabinet next week Tuesday.
According to the Information Minister Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, Ken Ofori-Atta will subsequently head to the legislature on Tuesday.
The presentation is expected to center on impact of Covid-19 on Ghana’s economy and the mitigation measures rolled out as well as accountability of approved funds to combat the pandemic.
This year’s mid-year review and budget statement was expected to be delivered by the minister early this month until Covid-19 forced the finance ministry to shutdown.
