The New Patriotic Party Chairman in the Abura Asebu Kwamankese constituency, Phileas Kweku Baah Ewudzie has entreated the party delegates and members to work assiduously to retain the party in power come 2024 general elections.

According to him, “Breaking The 8” is not just a mere slogan but an agenda to continue protecting Ghanaians which requires collective efforts from each and every one.

“The NPP is the only political party in our part of the world that has good policies for the good people of Ghana and it is incumbent on the Grassroot to work hard for Ghanaians and our future leaders to continue to enjoy free and quality education, healthcare through to agriculture.” Phileas Kweku Baah Ewudzie said at the party’s Annual Delegates Conference on 8th September, 2021 under the Theme: “THE ROLE OF PARTY FAITHFULS IN POSITIONING NPP AAK TO BREAK THE 8 FOCUSING THE POLLING STATION”.

The event was divided into three zones with three venues, at Moree (zone A), Abakrampa (zone B) and Abura Dunkwa (zone C) because of Covid 19 safety protocols.

Mr. Richard Takyi-Mensah (Regional Secretary) on behalf of the President and government, national party and the regional party thanked the delegates for their immense contributions in the election 2020.

Hon. Elvis Morris Donkoh (MP) for his part charged the delegates to forgo their individual interest and see the party’s as a bigger picture and continue to support the party and the government going into 2024.

Special Awards and Certificate of Honour were given to Hon. Isaac Kwaku Asiamah, Dr. Lydia Dsane-Selby, Dr. Asenso Boadi, Professor Eric Nyarko-Sampson, Madam Gifty Nana Animah, Hon. Andrew Mensah, and all the gallant polling station officers for their contributions in the 2020 electioneering period.

A minute silence was observed for the souls of the departed patriots and asked God to grant them eternal rest.
