On his part, Odame Agyare told hostess Obaahemaa Yaa Mirekua the people of Kwahu have been taken for granted for too long by the ruling New Patriotic Party.

Making reference to total votes cast during the 2020 General Election, he said “Kwahu gave the NPP overwhelming votes leading to victory 2020 but it seems the NPP has taken us for granted”.

He added that “the Assembly Members must reject the various MMDCEs in Kwahu. We don’t have any problem with them but this will send a signal to the President. We have different football clubs in all the five Districts but there no field to host sporting activities, unlike other places.”

Responding to issues surrounding the delay of construction, Deputy CEO for Middle Belt Development Authority Lawyer Joyce Opoku Boateng said, the contractor has been engaged adding work will soon commence.
