Late Major Maxwell Mahama

The Investigator in the case in which William Baah, an Assemblyman for Denkyira-Obuasi and 13 others are standing trial for the murder of Major Maxwell Mahama has told the High Court in Accra that, the Assemblyman mobilised the other accused persons with guns and deadline implement to pursue the late military officer.

Chief Inspector Samuel Agyakwah, the 14th Prosecution Witness, told the court under further cross-examination from defence lawyer George Bernard Shaw, that, contrary to the Assemblyman’s role as part of a member of the Security Council of the area to report to the police of any crime, he rather mobilised them to pursue late Major Mahama.
