Ghanaian American boxer, Isaac Dogboe has confirmed his confidence in the featherweight division. According to the WBO 1 / WBC 1 Champion, he feels more comfortable fighting at the featherweight level.
He said, “I feel more comfortable with my weight and my team also, so I don’t see a reason why I have to change and struggle as much as I use to when making 122kg. Being at super bantamweight, I had to struggle to make the weight but I think I’m more comfortable in the featherweight division and I’m working with a nutritional team for the best.”
He added that “Notwithstanding, Navarrete is a good fighter and he beat me fair and square on two occasions and I give him the respect for that.”
Isaac Dogboe made this statement in an interview with Adam Adjei on Kasapa 102.5FM in Accra.
