Ghana midfielder Mohammed Kudus has explained the secret behind his steady face whenever he scores a goal.

The 22-year-old never smiles when he finds the back of the net for Ajax and according to the midfielder, it has to do with the different emotions he goes through after scoring.

Mohammed Kudus has been on a rich run of scoring form for Ajax, netting six in his last five games for the Dutch champions.

“For me, it’s much more than just cheering for a goal,” he explains to NOS. “For me, it’s about all aspects of life at a time like this. Stick to what you believe in. That’s why I do it like this.”

Kudus has been deployed as a false nine this season, staring these days ahead of striker Brian Brobbey.

The former Right to Dream Academy graduate is currently with the Black Stars team preparing for the international friendly against Brazil.
