Hearts of Oak have ended Division Two side Afienya City’s impressive run in the 2015 MTN FA Cup after beating them 1-0 at the Tema Stadium.
Midfielder Isaac Mensah scored the only goal of the game to push the Phobians into the next round of the competition.
Eleven Wise also booked a place in the quarterfinals on Sunday after winning their Western regional derby against Samartex 3-1.
Tamale Utrecht eliminated BA United with a 2-0 win at the Tamale Academy Stadium while WAFA secured a place in the next round after they defeated Mighty Jets 3-0.
