Ghanaian model and TV personality, Deborah Vanessa Owusu-Bonsu popularly known as Sister Deborah has said she supports government’s vision to make the Capital city the cleanest in Africa.

According to her, people’s attitude with regards to haphazardly littering around is appalling and glad the president pledged to reverse the situation to make Accra attractive.

Speaking with KOD on the Zone, the ‘Uncle Obama’ singer said “the kind of issues we have in the country right now we can’t blame everything on the president or government.

“We as people we are giving reasons why there is flooding, there are things like that. And we also don’t contribute or help,” Sister Derby said.

According to the singer, Ghanaians do not contribute in helping solve the problem of filth.

Nana Akufo-Addo has pledged to make Accra the neatest and best city in Africa by the end of his first term in office after being installed as a chief by the people of Jamestown and the Ngleshie Alata Traditional council under the title Nii Kwaku Abladey Okudzeaman I.

The President has tasked the Accra Metropolitan Assembly to treat this as a matter of urgency to help reshape the city.
