One person has been killed after a Kintampo- Tamale bound bus was attacked by unidentified gunmen.
The Ssanyong Istana mini bus with registration number GC 1583-12 had 15 passengers on board when the armed men opened fire on the bus at Babatokuma on the Kintampo-Tamale Highway.
The body of the deceased has been deposited at the Kintampo hospital morgue while three of the victims are currently receiving treatment at the Techiman Holy family hospital.
Eye witness told this website, the incident happened around 6:00 pm on Sunday. The robbers reportedly made away with several valuables and money belonging to the passengers.
