President Nana Akufo-Addo will leave for Nigeria today, Tuesday, August, 1, 2017 for an official visit.
A communication from the Presidency said, Mr. Akufo-Addo’s trip to the neighbouring country is at the behest of Acting President of Nigeria, Prof Yemi Osinbajo.
The Ghanaian leader has been invited as a special guest of honour for the graduation ceremony of Nigeria’s National Defense College, Communications Director of the Flagstaff House, Eugene Arhin said in a statement.
President Nana Akufo-Addo will return later the same day, the statement added.
