The Police in the Ashanti Region has intercepted 300 parcels of a substance believed to be Indian hemp.

Addressing the media shortly after the arrest early Thursday morning, the regional command said it turned down a 10, 000 cedis bribe from the suspects.

The two suspects whose names were given as Kwabena Alex Nuhu and Martin Gyamfi tried to bribe the Police but had their bait rejected.w1 w

The arrest was made after a tip off that the water tank vehicle they were using, and which was heading to Kumasi from Kwame Danso in the Brong Ahafo region, had been stuffed with the substance.
