The Police in the Ashanti Region has intercepted 300 parcels of a substance believed to be Indian hemp.
Addressing the media shortly after the arrest early Thursday morning, the regional command said it turned down a 10, 000 cedis bribe from the suspects.
The two suspects whose names were given as Kwabena Alex Nuhu and Martin Gyamfi tried to bribe the Police but had their bait rejected.
The arrest was made after a tip off that the water tank vehicle they were using, and which was heading to Kumasi from Kwame Danso in the Brong Ahafo region, had been stuffed with the substance.
