Award winning Ghanaian singer, Efya, has hinted that she will at some point in her music career quit and go into farming.

“I will go into farming after serving 10 years in the music industry,” she made this revelation in an interview with Afia Schwarzenegger on Aben Wo Ho on Kasapa 102.3 FM.

She also noted that even though there is high competition in the music industry, she was confident that her persistent hard work will enable her beat off any threat.

Efya got her first exposure to fame when she participated in the maiden edition of the Stars of the Future talent show. She’s won the Best Female Vocal Performance category at the Ghana Music Awards for  four times.

She is currently promoting her latest single Jorley, which features Sarkodie.
