An Accra bound train from Nsawam has derailed at Tesano in Accra Monday morning injuring five passengers.
It is unclear how the incident happened, no death has been recorded.
An eye witness who spoke with Fiifi Banson on Anopa Kasapa said recruits at the Police Training School rushed to the scene to help evacuate the injured to hospital.
The incident got passengers on-board stranded, compelling them to find alternative means of getting to their destinations.
