Ghanaian boxer, Briamah Kamoko, otherwise known as Bukom Banku has blamed the referee and his doctor for his defeat last Saturday when he was technically knocked out  in round seven of their much publicized cruiserweight bout by Bastie “The Beast” Samir at the Bukom Boxing Arena.

The boxer who admitted his opponent was stronger than him is seeking a revenge on March 6, 2018.

Speaking with Gatuso on Aben Wo Ha show on Kasapa 102.5Fm, Monday, Bukom Banku refuted rumours claiming he was admitted at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital after the bout.

Reacting to Social Media trolling about his defeat, Banku said he was relieved when Former President, John Dramani Mahama called him on phone to wish him well and encouraged him.

I accept that Bastie has beaten me, even President John Dramani Mahama lost a General Election. I’ve closed my ear drum so if you insult me, I don’t care.”

Responding to claims by his colleague boxer, Ayitey Powers that his (Bukom Banku) latest defeat was a result of his constant reliance on juju, Banku said “Ayitey Powers is mentally disable that is why he is supporting Bastie.”

“If Prophet TB Joshua is spiritually powerful, he should pray for Ayitey Powers to win his fights,” Bukom Banku added.

Asked if he has a Twitter handle, Bukom Banku replied, “Me I don’t like TOYOTA, I like Range Rover [sic].”
