Barbara Mahama, wife of the slain Soldier has secured a job with one of Ghana’s foreign missions, Defence Minister, Dominic Nitiwul, has announced.

At least the move will help the young widow and her children deal with the trauma, the Defence Minister said.

“We gave her options; she is into communications so we gave her options, she said she wanted a particular job at the Foreign Ministry and we put her there. The idea is to take her completely away from this country for some time so that she does not keep remembering those problems that are there,” Mr Nitiwul stated in the Western Region.

Barbara’s late husband was lynched at Denkyira-Boase by locals who mistook him for an armed robber after sighting a firearm on him.
