
National Road Safety Commission, Ghana has appointed Ghanaian highlife musicians Nero X and K K Fosu as Icons.
Unveiling ceremony of the two artistes was held on Wednesday at the Ghana National Road Safety Commission office in Accra.
Preluding to the unveiling the Fanti singer had released a song ‘Okwan So Bebre’ which featured his colleague National Safety Icon KK Fosu.
Nero X and K.K Fosu also speaking at the launch of the campaign single asked Ghanaians to help promote the song to reduce road accident in the country.
The two musicians were contracted by Road Saftey ambassador, Gabby Adu Gyamfi for the song.
Nero X is currently Out with a crazy hit jam ‘Yawa dey’ which is already enjoying airplay on some radio stations across the country.
The National Road Safety Commission (NRSC) of Ghana was established by an Act of Parliament (NRSC Act 567 of 1999). The Act mandates the NRSC to play the lead role in championing, promoting and coordinating Road Safety activities in Ghana. The main objective of the National Road Safety Commission is to plan, develop and promote road safety and to coordinate policies related to road safety in Ghana.
