Two children have died while a blind man believed to be in his early forties is in critical condition following an accident at the Central Market Friday.
A Hyundai commercial vehicle with registration number AE 1855- 12 driven by a driver’s mate reportedly failed its brakes while making a U-turn and in the process crashed the two children.
An eyewitness Nana Gyimah told Abusua FM’s Osei Kwadwo that the children died on the spot while their father who was with them sustained severe injuries.
He is currently in critical condition at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH), where the bodies of the children have also been kept.
