Dancehall artiste, Charles Nii Armah, popularly known as Shatta Wale has been adjudged as the “Celebrity of the Year” at the just ended 2017 People’s Celebrity Awards.
The ‘Freedom’ hitmaker won the coveted Dodge Charger prize as the only celebrity who garnered the highest vote at the second edition of the People’s Choice Awards now People’s Celebrity Awards that came off at the Accra International Conference Centre on Saturday.
Shatta Wale has in his car garage, a Jeep Wrangler, Range Rover Vogue, Toyota Camry, Maserati, BMW among others.
The People’s Celebrity Awards is an annual award scheme which seeks to award and celebrate individuals who have contributed immensely towards the development of the Ghanaian Arts and Entertainment industry.
The scheme covered areas such as music, movies, TV, Radio, Journalism, and Sports among other fields.
Notable personalities who were present at the awards night were Asamoah Gyan, DKB, Ahoufe Patri, Kalybos, Jacinta Ocansey and Dr. Paa Kwesi Ndoum among others.
