Armed robbers have attacked the Kwabenya Police station in Accra and reportedly freed seven of their members who were in custody.
The dawn invasion saw the armed robbers shooting to dead a police commander, kasapafmonline.com understands.
The incident, according to top police sources, occurred Saturday at about 1 am.
The identity of the slain commander is immediately not known.
Sources say the police have intensified their investigations in a bid to bring the perpetrators to book.
