UK-based Ghanaian Singer, Fuse ODG and sound engineer, Killbeatz have made history as the first Ghanaian musician to win the prestigious Grammy Award.

Fuse won the award for co-writing Ed Sheeran’s ‘Be Bia be Y3 ye’ song on the ‘Divide’ album which won ‘Best Pop Vocal Album‘ at the 2018 Grammy Awards over the weekend.

Ed Sheeran, who was snubbed out of major categories, picked up the award for pop vocal album “DIVIDE” which adds to his collection of awards as third Grammy award as a musician. His category was not listed in the award categories for the main night.

The song was produced by Killbeatz and Ann Modey.

This makes killbeatz and Phamous films a Grammy winner. They both get a participation certificate from Grammys.

The song had over 48 million views on YouTube since its release.

The ‘divide’ album which is the third studio album by English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran was released on March 3, 2017.
