The Black Maidens have completed a 19-0 win over Djibouti to seal qualification to the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup in Uruguay later this year.

Coach Augustine Evans Adotey’s side thrashed the Djiboutians 10-0 in the return leg tie played at the Cape Coast Stadium after their emphatic 9-0 win in the first leg a fortnight ago.

Abdulai Mukarama scored four goals in Sunday’s game with Fuseina Mumuni, Nina Norshie, Victoria Teye, Berikisu Rahaman and Azuma Bugrie all getting on the scoresheet.

Ghana now join South Africa to the upcoming World Cup with Nigeria to face Cameroon for the final CAF ticket.

This is Ghana’s sixth successive qualification to the junior female World Cup.

The FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup is scheduled for 13 November to 1 December 2018.
