Board Chairman of the Youth Employment Agency (YEA) Sammy Awuku has entreated all and sundry to encourage young girls to press for progress and make our world a better place.
He made the call when he feted young female students of Accra New Town Experimental School as part of celebrating this year’s International Women’s Day which is being marked today, Thursday, March 8, under the theme: ‘’Women Too-Press to Progress as Game Changers’’.
Sammy Awuku who’s also the National Youth Organizer of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) also took time to educate them on what the education sector under H.E Nana Addo’s regime has in store for them, and how with hard work, dedication and determination they can also benefit from Nana’s Free SHS and also reach their goals.
According to him, he was stunned with the keen interest these wonderful students who excelled in their just ended terminal exams showed in our National Discourse.
Sammy Awuku further commended Sarah Nana Yeboah and the mentors of these girls for their good work.
