Deputy General secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress(NDC), Koku Anyidoho is expected to report to the Criminal Investigations Department(CID) today for the continuation of investigations into his coup comment.

Anyidoho who was arrested last Tuesday spent two days in the grips of security operatives before securing a bail Thursday by his legal team.

He was arrested after he claimed on radio that there will be a civil coup to topple the presidency of Akufo-Addo.

“There’ll be a civilian coup d’etat; there’ll be a social revolution and the movement is starting on Wednesday. He [Akufo-Addo] will be fed up at the Presidency,” the opposition firebrand opined.

His Lawyer, Victor Kojogah Adawudu ahead of their return to the Police CID today said they’ll present themselves as required by the police.

“We will abide by the terms of the bail and go and see the police,” he assured.
