South African rapper, Nasty C has said his poor performance at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards ceremony held at the Accra International Conference Centre on Saturday, April 14, was due to poor sound quality from organizers.

He fell flat when his name was mentioned to appear on stage to thrill hundreds of patrons.

Speaking to Hitz FM, Nasty C said during his performance he was forced to do an acapella of his songs without the sound from the organizers.

“The break in sound really affected my performance on stage. I would have done better than what I did.” he told Andy Dosty.

He was nominated alongside Davido, Tiwa Savage, Cassper Nyovest among others for Best African Act at the awards.
